Mr. Pruitt,
Recently I emailed your campaign about a meeting with members of Save
the Illinois River, Inc., STIR. STIR is a not for profit, citizen's
coalition chartered to protect the Illinois River, its tributaries, and
Tenkiller Lake.
I have not had a reply to this request. STIR is very interested in
learning your views on Oklahoma Scenic Rivers protection, on clean,
safe water, and about the state's poultry lawsuit in Tulsa Federal
District Court.
Looking at your campaign contribution report, we see that you have
received contributions from Arkansas poultry industry executives. In
view of these contributions, it is even more important for STIR and our
members to know your position on pursuing the poultry lawsuit if
necessary should you should be elected. In view of the value of
Oklahoma Scenic Rivers, we hope that you would be a strong advocate for
rivers protection no matter who may be polluting waters of our state.
