Recently members of the U.S. Senate and House from Arkansas and Oklahoma asked the U.S. EPA to insure any Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) pollution study of the Illinois River watershed be based on good science. They deny their letter to EPA was an attempt to steer the study or slow it down.
