Stimulus funds help 2 cities’ sewer plants

Federal stimulus money has proved crucial as Prairie Grove and Siloam Springs build sewer plants that have been on municipal to-do lists for years.

Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Prairie Grovewas awarded $4.8 million in grants and loans, while Siloam Springs got $4 million in principal forgiveness bonds.
