Seven poultry companies on Thursday criticized a $120,000 lawsuit settlement between Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson and Willow Brook Foods Inc., saying the deal is "illusory and meaningless."
Led by Springdale-based Tyson Foods, the companies asked U.S. District Judge Greg Frizzell to vacate his May 19 order that approved the settlement with Willow Brook, a former Springfield, Mo., turkey processor. The company is now called Cold Zone Inc., and it's in the coldstorage business.
